Now this one is also solved by "ARAI" as they said Nano returns a healthy 23.6 kmpl (under standard conditions) and overtakes the previous no-1 fuel effecient car Maruti A-Star which was having a figure of 19.6 kmpl. Its good to hear the positives of the Indian dream car.

Chevrolet Italy claimed that their Matiz LPG is cheaper than the Indian Nano's counterpart in Europe i.e "TATA NANO EUROPA". So the cheapest car in India is not the cheapest for the entire world.
